I just filmed a hawk going after a big turkey. That was pretty cool.

Minnesota rifle season. Annual tradition of me and my big brother. Posting live from the confines of my comfy box stand. Deer are moving. One shooter with no shot.

Climbed down to regroup. Gonna try something I've never done before and hunt the north side of the swamp. It'll be the best idea ever or the worst.

I'm going to tough it out. While wind forecasts are usually wrong, they're supposed to start dropping around noon on. Still not ideal but just maybe they'll get up and move late afternoon.

Yeah, just the noaa weather.gov site. Usually right around the radar image. You can look up top left and it will tell you when it was last updated

Just had a doe cross the path 70yds in front of me. Stopped and looked back. 2 minutes later a spike or fork horn crossed.

He's either pushing her or maybe they're moving. Winds still gusting but getting spaced out.

This morning at first light I had a buck headed my way. Then he saw another buck and snort-wheezed at him and went over to kick some butt. The fought for about fifteen minutes, and then I never saw them again. That was the first time I've heard a snort-wheeze in the wild. It was really cool.

I just got down.. Gotta go help my dad with fence. I was getting my climber packed up when I look over and see two deer threw the trees.. Toss everything and grab my bow.. Its was a fork and a nice shooter buck. Couldn't count points but he was heavy. Grrrrrrr
