    Shot a doe tonight, over my decoy. Even off the ground, my son came home from school, and he wanted to go hunting. I couldnt climb back up with CJ. So we r on the ground when this doe came in. he couldn't shoot , but I had a shot and I took it. All of us r home now, safe and sound.


    Right a last light 525pm

    I'll decide when the alarm goes off at 2:30. May sit tomorrow out due to wind and moon.

    Looked back at last 2 bucks I shot, not sure if it's a bad sign or not but I shot both 5 days before the November full moon. Second guessing myself now, thinking I should have taken off last week

    cls, Ive shot bucks during rain, snow, 20 degree temps, 75 degree temps, full moon, no moon.

    Sat for 4 hours on my lease on the Eastern shore of MD. 25 mph winds that were supposed to be "gusts" but it was non-stop. Cold front moving in and I saw a spike walk under my stand around 5.

    I'm not sure why I can't post pics using tap-a-talk but I can't.

    It was an awesome encounter.

    He's really not that big but I wasn't going to pass on him. That jacked up left side sold me on him.

    Oh, and this colorblind hunter trailed him all the way. The entire 50 yards. :lol:

    Up and getting ready, I'd rather second guess myself in a tree than on the couch. By far the best sit I've had was yesterday

    Clouds remained pretty thick overnight, winds not as bad right now as what they forecast. Hopefully by the time I get set up they have switched to the NW.
