Good luck today guys. Heading in under the cover of rain to kill a buck. I hope once the storm breaks around 9-10 the bucks will be moving hard for a few hours. We shall see.

In stand and ready to go 30-40 min before daylight. Mr big is just around the next tree. I hope. Good luck everyone

 

Just got settled in. It's a light drizzle and 45' after 60' yesterday no wind. Hoping the big boys are up and cruising.

 

3/4 mile back in, settled in under a very full moon. Hopes are low but movement should be killer next week! Supposed to get wind gust up to 30 mph today, just slightly breeze as of now and 43 degrees

 

Nephew shot a die at sunset....he found gut in the blood so.he waited till this morning...heading out to see if we can find her

 

Had to wait out the rain so got in the stand at 630.

I'm off for about a week so hopefully I'll get some encounters.

Hey not looking bad, seen Doe way out now a 70" 8 just walked under me! Love these remote areas, now if Honcho will show again for 3 rd day, and give me a shot for once!

 

Woke up to 28mph sustained winds and gusts up to 35, I went back to bed....

 

Woah morning is looking good! Just passed a 125" 9 point!

Rain starting to diminish. Working an oak flat above a swamp. Need hungry does to bring bucks.

Doe went through at 44 yards, a 110" 8 point that i have several timed came from another direction and picked up her trail. Looks like hot Doe in area. Starting to get windy! Come on Honcho show yourself today!

 

Tomorrow is looking great here. 20 -40 mph winds today but supposed to completely die off tonight.

Calm winds in the morning becoming South 5-8 mph in the afternoon. High near 50.

Sadly it won't last long as gusts to 25 slated for Saturday, but I think winds don't really matter much anymore.

Shoot them today guys, for starting tomorrow

Holy cow another 8 just picked up her trail. I no longer hate full moons LOL
