I'm on doe patrol now since you're only allowed one buck in Indiana. Just saw a fat nanny about 15 min ago.

I hunted til noon and didnt see a thing. Looked at a map, walked in a mile and saw deer within 30 minutes.

 

Well decided to move for the afternoon sit, checked a couple cams on the way, had a doe with a decent 8 trailing walk by the stand I'm in now at 10 something. Got settled in and all set up, did some light calling/rattling, hear something move behind me to my right and a limb snap, see 2 deer get up and trot up the hill away from me. Not for sure if it was a buck and a doe or what. Just trying to figure out how I managed to climb a tree with a climber, and set up all my gear with out spooking them.

 

Just climbed in. Had a doe feeding 100 yds behind me as I was climbing in. Hopefully that's a good sign.

 

In another spot this eve. Dont like to over hunt an area. Actually looking for a Doe this evening!

 

Been in for 30 minutes. Bumped 2 doe off a bed along the creek coming in. I walk in the creek to minimize pressure and scent and still bump deer.

Not sure it is such a bad thing to get those deer off that creek, they likely don't move past the stand I am sitting unless I bump them, now a chance they will ciricle toward my stand.

This spot has been hot for me 9 bucks and a doe the last 2 sits. Mostly 1.5 year old bucks but still fun. Honey suckle thicket left and right and hardwood thicket in front of me.

Just had a shooter walk past at 50 yrds grunted and nuthin

I need to be squirrel hunting, things are driving me nuts, had some major clouds roll in, gonna lose light a little early tonight, got maybe an hour left....
