    Well just pulled up to the lease, from the road it looks like all the corn is down. My plan today is to hunt the stand I hunting the other morning, because it is the easiest to get to without having to cut across the field. The moon is bright and the sky is clear so hopefully it has the deer up and in the field and they stick around till the sun comes up.

    Depending on how the morning goes I may move to a spot deeper in the woods the I believe is a travel corridor between the back side of the property and the front. Have not hunted or checked the cam there in 2-3 weeks.

    I got today and tomorrow to get it done. Don't know if I will do an all day sit tomorrow or not considering I have to be back at work at 430 am on Friday.

    To everyone heading out, good luck and be safe. Feels like a good day to kill something.....

    In stand. Really getting the hang of setting all my gear up. Thinking I got a pretty good system going for me.

    Little colder then what I thought it was gonna be this morning, actually had a little frost on the ground. I was able to walk in pretty quietly and get set up with very minimal noise. Let's just hope the deer cooperate this morning....

    I still got about 20-30 mins before shooting light and I got all kinds of critters jumping around, almost positive I heard a deer jump the fence and bed down about 30-40 yds to my left..... Or it's just wishful thinking......

    Well it didn't take all day to see a deer this time. Just had a little forkie hop the fence and proceed right under my stand and behind me. So far so good on him not winding me....

    Deer or no deer, this is the best morning weather wise I have had all season. Cool and crisp, slight frost and minimal wind, should be a nice sunrise here in a few....

    Just had a yote run out to the field, stayed out for a few, then turned and came into the woods, walked about 15 yds to my left, was able to draw but never had a clear shot.

    Then about 2 mins later had a small 6-8pt walk the fence line and continue on across the field toward the road. Did not respond to any calls....

    Bout time, only it's not the action I want. Bout the way it goes, the action you want, you ain't getting, the action you getting, you don't want.

    Like at the moment I have a bunch of crows circling and landing in the field and the tree above me.....might turn into a crappy kinda day....
