Both my closest hunting buds killed mature bucks yesterday afternoon. If I would have scored yesterday morning it would have been a trifecta! Here is kne of them.

I stayed home to.... But not because I wanted to sleep in, really don't think my back would have handled another all day sit...

Thought about calling in this morning, but remembered I had to vote and couldn't get an all day sit in. Plus it had rained all night and still was.

Ready for Thursday to get here.

No more deer this morning but I did get to watch a flock of turkeys feed nearby. Back out this weekend most likely. Good luck if you're still out there!

If i accidentally spill sunflower seeds while eating them in my stand, does that count as baiting? Just stuff i think about while sitting all day

I know a CO told me to not toss apple cores while hunting...just to be safe. He said he'd never write a guy up but if he found a bunch of cores around the base of a tree suspiscion would be raised.

Agreed. Saw REALLY nice tall racked buck in the middle of a picked bean field with a doe on my way in this morning. They're moving around here right now.

I'm done with work at 330... I can be in the stand by 4. Sunset is 4:58... Thinking of slipping in to the stand with only an hour and a half to hunt.

Chasing is in full force right now and there is a unpicked bean field that has does on it EVERY night.

Got off work early so I made it out to woods. Just got set up, not too bad out. Little bit of a breeze but it's blowing in my favor. Will see what happens

Yep, my hunt yesterday is a great example of this. Was in the stand at 4:00PM, shot at 4:08 (I THINK :D ).

Get out there whether you have an hour or three.

Just called a nice 8 in from about 200 yards. Got him to within 30 to let him grow
