Thanks guys, just now got him out of the woods. Biggest bodied deer I've seen, still can't believe it!

This is just starting to get ridiculously stupid. November 3rd, been sitting all day, farmer cutting corn, and not one deer seen or heard. Same story yesterday except had a buck walk by after last light and once I was on the ground, 2nd year deer have just vanished at the end of October, I just don't get why this property does not hold deer past early season....

    Wesley,

Over my last 5 hunts ive seen 1 deer, a basket 6 point. My trail cameras show daylight action, im just not at the right place at the right time.

Ita currently 63° with 15mph wind and ive once again not seen a single deer.

    Persistance pays off right?

My trail cams are not even showing much. The occasional doe, and had one of my shooters run by oct 28 at like 3am. It's just frustrating because pretty much the same thing happened last year. But yes, usually persistence pays off, hence the reason I'm sitting in 70* temps and 15mph winds.

Well finally seen a deer, just a little spike, tried calling him in to get some video of him, but could care less about my calling, he stayed behind me in a little drainage creek bed.

Had a pretty cool night tonight. Combine came in on the soy bean field I was about 60yds from and pushed a couple does to with in 40yds with only 20 minutes left. After shooting light a started packing up and the does circled back right in front of me and a young buck came after them grunting up a storm. He stopped at about 6 yds on the does tail. Saw 6 deer total! Just need to get them in light!!

    3 days of work left.

I am prepared to sit all day every day until I get it done.

I'm liking my new stand placement, I have another stand that I may be able to hang as well. Would like to get on one of the ridges near a creek crossing and give that a go.

I fully intend to lay down two shooters, hopefully 130"+, before I return to work, after that its firearm weekend and all bets are off with a buck by bow.

Buck down. A while ago, just no cell service shot 10 minutes into the sit.
