    It's shaping up to be a long day. It's windier than it was forecast, all clouds when it was supposed to be mostly sunny. All I've seen today is turkeys, I'm not turkey hunting damnit, bring on the deer.....

    A trophy to me. Double lung and nicked heart. Only made it 20 yards. It bulldozed the whole way from where I shot it. Really really liking the G5 T3's.

    Stayed in this am... very windy. I think I just saw the neighbor`s dog flying over the garage.
    Didn't see anything in the Corn yesterday... In fact I didn't see any deer at all. Strange.

    It's been really slow down here. I have some nice ones on cams, but still after dark. I have a few daytime pics of a bunch of smaller ones, but not even seeing those while on stand. Today will be the last hunt for me with the bow. Next weekend I will have the smoke pole out for gun season. Good luck to you!!

    Had an awesome hunt this morning! Saw lots of grunting and chasing. 9 deer total, 3 or 4 bucks. Had a shooter (for me) 8 point dogging a doe at 50 yards, but couldn't break him away from that doe. Also rattled in another decent 8 that I would have shot given the chance.
