Wind kept me home today. Blew a tree down on my fence and took out three rails and one post. So that's what I'm doing today.

Dang man. Looks like the winds are going to drop a bit this afternoon. If they get at 20 or below I will hunt.

Been a great morning so far. 5 bucks, 3 does, and 2 fawns. One of the bucks I have a couple years of history with. He came to 15 yards and gave me a perfect shot opportunity. The shot looked good, but I'm waiting until 11 or so to get down and track him.

So debating on going out this afternoon its cold which is good... but the wind is kinda alittle nuts...20 to 30 mph gusts... who thinks the deer will even get up and move in this... last time it was this windy I saw nothing but a bear

Passed a smaller 8 this morning, and just had 5 does come rippin through here. Something was grunting and chasing them, turned out to be a spike. I should have shot one of them, damn

If that 6 pter comes within range drill it.

I havent seen a big buck from stand this year. I am hoping that changes soon. All we can do is hunt smart, hard, and know every day the rut is picking up.
