Just passed on a spike.

 

Windy and cold here. Had a doe and fawn come in downwind of me so I never got a shot off. Had one buck work the trail and my plan perfectly but he was too young so he got a pass

Pretty exciting last 45 mins. Had bunch of does come out and a decent what looked to be 8 pointer was with them. He chased off a smaller buck the started running the does around. Too bad it all happened about 300 yards away. Was neat to watch though

 

Changing it up, to the stand of no reception.

 

Just had a deer blow in the distance

I just switched from stone cold killer to soccer dad. Off on a two hour trip to my girls soccer game. hahaha

 

Seen the other guys on their way out. Seen a doe with a 6 point following her around. Just not sure if things are ready for an all day sit or not.

Was hoping with the winds yesterday they might be on their feet hungry a little more today.

Lots of chasing this morning. Had a decent 8 hang up on me.

All does early this morning. No bucks yet. Kind of dead now. Hoping for one to cruise by around the noon hour.

 

3 doe, 3 coyotes, and a buck grunting out of sight.

 

Had to get down early. Wind switched on me. No good for me out of the SE.

Well hello there

 

This wind sucks. Getting ready to head back out for the afternoon.

 

Just had about 130" 10pt come into a rattling sequence. No shot opportunity.

 

Lmao, I just had a WTF moment.

Seen something about 50 yards away moving. Squirrels are out that's about it, but this had a big head and lighter in color. Kept staring in its direction while thoughts of what it was danced around. Thought an opossum but it was way too quick. Was drawing a blank until it came back out on the trail.

Dang squirrel carrying an osage orange first time I've seen that

 

Back in the stand for the afternoon. Wind has died down so hopefully they get on their feet and move

 

Windy as heck out. But I can't get em from the couch. Good luck boys!
