This was not cleared with me. Who gave you permission. Good luck man. Wind should be died down by the time you get in.

6th street, was the Sangamon Ave. on ramp with the doe and initial swerve. He was lane to lane in my mirror until South Grand and then as I passed the East Lake drive exit never seen him again.

Just got in the stand. Bumped one on the way in... Didn't blow or anything so think I'm good. I've never rattled on this property... Might have to do that on an hour

I climbed down shortly after I said I was. Pulled the card that was set to video and it malfunctioned, nothing on it.

So I head to where I wanted to hang a stand. Found a good tree but it was engulfed in nasty thick briar 3-5 feet tall.

On the way there when I rounded a corner I seen a doe and she seen me. She takes off away from me along with two others, but a 4th heads towards the stand I hit the turkey from. Round the next corner and now the sun is fully in my face. As I'm walking I see that doe about 35 yds in front of me. She's standing there looking at me. I have a stand and sticks on my back, a bag with cam and gear in one hand and my bow in the other. I raise an arm to block the sun and we're staring each other down. She takes three stomping steps towards me amd just keeps staring. A few seconds later she takes three more, then another three. I don't know hat she was going to do but at that point all I seen was a doberman pinscer staring me down so I lowered my arm and she took off.

She was a crazy wench, I didn't want any part of what she was going to offer up

    Crazy day.

I did get the stand set up, but cams aren't showing much of anything. The drainage ditch being washed out my uncle can't get back in there to mow the thick stuff down. He thinks that is causing he lack of movement through there.

Plan C is in effect, which is make a plan B and put something down.

29 is in my back yard, as is the lost bridge trail, so all your action this morning was right around my home. If you ever want to hook up on a river bottom hunt or a Lake Sangchris hunt, just let me know.

So I am guessing you hunt out west? jacksonville or south of there or more west?

Just got out to stand. Don't know how productive it'll be with it being so windy but we will see.

Hoping to make it in stand in the morning. Should be a good one with many deer falling. Good luck to those hitting it tonight!

I've been out for about two hours. The wind is really kicking here. This ride is like being back at sea.
