Thanks for all the congrats guys! Shot was perfect and right through the heart. She went about 60 yards and piled up about 10 yards into the woods. Got her over to Johnwb82's house and he is getting him all butchered up for me! Thanks John! Was a great night and can't wait to get back in the woods again later this week!

    Congrats ferg...

Off to the woods I go. It was 78 degrees yesterday, it is now 56 and still dropping, hoping it gets the deer moving this morning. It's getting to be that
Time in the year when it
Is strictly buck patrol until one hits the dirt. Good luck ladies and gents that are hitting the woods today.

First time in this stand this year. Taking Bucky jr with me along with the heavy horns. It has been 80-85* for a couple of weeks with strong winds for the last two. A nice cold front with thunder storms came thru last night, it's calm and cool this morning. I will plan on an all day, but hopefully I won't need to.
    Good luck to all

Running late but I'm set up and ready to rock. Hunting a ridge top behind a beans field and corn field. Brassica plot about 80yds away. Good luck guys. Hunt safe.

I just hit the stand but might not make it long. Thunderstorm is rolling in quicker than anticipated. Hopefully get some daylight before the lightning gets here

Well that was fun, have 3 different spots I can hunt today with the wind, so checked cams on the way in to decide what spot I wanted. First 2, nothing, no biggy, my 3rd spot should be good considering I have not been in that area in about a month.

So get over here and check my cam, I didn't turn the damn thing on. Oh well, should be a good spot hopefully, have a small run and scrape abut 15 yds away...

But on a better note, I'm getting a lot better at setting up the camera gear. Think I have a pretty good system figured out now...

Been in the stand about 1hr and just got into full light. Up on the top of a ridge with a corn field about 100yds at the bottom. Temp down to low 50s and only set to get to low 60s. Going to be in the woods all day. Good luck to all hunting

Same here. Very quiet. Checked my cams on the ways in. Not one deer pic during shooting hours. Had some turkeys during the day though. Lol

I saw a really really nice big buck dead on the side of the interstate this morning on my way to work. If I wasn't in dress clothes I would of stopped and got a tag for it. I called the wife to see if she would do it for me. No luck.
