    Just got set up. Checked cards yesterday and nice buck has been I'm field out in front of stand past couple nights right around dark. Night before last was right at legal shooting light and saw him last night while I was working ground in next field over.

    Well I got set up for my first hunt at home in IL and the farmer just showed up to cut the corn field right next to me. At the rate he is going he may be done right before prime time.....I hope

    Hunting I've a standing corn field tonight. Wish the farmer would come and pick it while I'm here!! Still way too much corn around for them to hide in.. 59*, with a 15 mph wind out if the SE.

    Good luck in west central IL. I decided to hold off until next weekend. Should see our first freeze if all works out. Hopefully the winds won't be too bad. I'll be out Friday through hopefully Sunday morning and start my vacation the following weekend.

    Wind willing I will start all day sits on Halloween.

    Well the farmer is already done with the field. I guess the new John Deeres have warp speed. He jumped a few does that jogged into the timber. Hope they all come back out

    Well so far nothing moving here so far this has been the worst year for me in terms of seeing deer during my sits
    If I don't see a deer tonight it will be 6 hunts in 4 different stands and nothing
