    I hope so. I've let my area rest since last Friday morning when I shot a doe. Headed back out this morning. Sure would be nice to fill one of my buck tags....

    All settled in, waiting on daylight. I saw a buck and a doe dead on the side of the road this morning. They were laying right beside each other. Maybe some seeking is starting to take place. Either that or it was one heck of a night for them. Good luck and be safe everyone.

    You know it's getting close to the rut when you start having half sleepless nights thinking about what stands you're going to be hunting and what weather fronts are going to come through.

    Rolled around until 2am last night and had to be up at 6... Will be out this evening. Going to freshen up my mock scrapes I started Saturday (more is better I believe). 60 degrees @ 4PM with a SSW wind at 15mph and rain forecasted tonight.
