    I had a big ostrich egg, 11 1/2 hours on stand and skunked on deer. Climbed down about 40 minutes early and headed out. I didn't see a single deer in standing beans, cut corn or the typical fields I normally see them in on the drive home.

    Not sure what was going on, but it made me feel a little better seeing that.

    Well I missed a doe at 20 yds. Right over her back. Tried shooting sitting down. Shouldn't have since I haven't practiced it.

    Good luck our there guys. Our plans took a turn yesterday, so the girlfriend and I couldn't hit the woods this morning. Looks like I won't be able to make it out this weekend unless something changes and I end up getting out this evening.

    Just made it to the stand here in SW WI some big boys showed up on camera full out fighting here yesterday morning.. Sitting 25 feet high, good luck everyone!!

    Sitting in my blind on some government land. Saw 2 coyotes playing in the field but too far to shoot. Coldest morning of the season so far so hopefully they'll move this morning.
