    Maybe a pic will change my luck.

    Expect them to come down from here. It's nasty thick this year, not sure how that will affect t the rut. Bedding area was in the trees, but wouldn't doubt they're bedding in the overgrowth now

    Unbelievable!!!! Just walked about a mile it better into my stand for the evening sit, got all settled in, and realized I forgot my damn release!!!!!

    Here is my view foe the evening sit. Had 3 deer that I busted walking in about 10 yds from the stand. One charged me. Got within about 2 yds and darted off the other way. Hope they come back! uploadfromtaptalk1413665822032.jpg

    Think I am just going to sit it out. It's a good day for bird watching!!! I could walk back and get it, and then go to another stand that's not too far from the truck, but the wind is all wrong for that stand.

    I'm having entirely too much fun out here. Just had a mature doe walk right up to my tree and started getting downwind of me, can't have that. So I threw a stick at her to get her to change direction. She mule kicked like I shot her and then walked off the other way.

    2 hours left, last year I shot my first deer at 4:45 according to the live from the stand thread. Shot my buck at 4pm, which I think was 3 pm.

    Fields are a long ways, they generally come through well before sunset.
