    Yeah, there's still a ton of it in around this property. Have neighboring woods on all sides between here and the fields as well. Still get traffic, just not as good as when it's out.

    7 1/2 hours on stand and not even a hint of a deer. I'm killing something tonight, I can feel it in the air.

    Sure could use a pizza right about now as well

    Just had a bear within 20 yards. It was headed right toward me.

    Climbed down for a minute to look at the spot she was standing when I shot. She only went about 10 yards into the thick stuff and crashed. Back in the tree now.

    No sign of deer for me today either so I idid a little recon. I found the deer highway that comes out of the corn and runs parallel to it. It's a 4 foot wide muddy path. I found a tree that'll hold a stand and out a new one up. Can't wait till tomorrow to try it out.

    Ok well I just shot another doe. Freezer is now full and it's time to focus on horns till shotgun comes in at thanksgiving. Then it's all about the kids this year.
