First morning hitting the road without hassles. Searched and searched for that turkey yesterday to no avail. Think I hit it left a bit, our collar bone area, I doubt it died right away but if it's wing was injured and it couldn't roost doubt it will make it. Sight of impact had wing feathers and body feathers blood didn't start until it started walking and ended quickly.

Pulled the cards before leaving, a lot of activity around today's stand. Morning, afternoon and evening. Only a couple bucks, the best being a 120'ish the day after I hung the cam at 3:45 pm.

He'd get a pass but it might be my first all day sit depending how the morning unfolds.

Today's all about smart shots or no shot. Don't need another yesterday.

    Good luck everyone.

I'm in the stand right now, wish it would have gotten colder last night but can't complain! It might be a good morning!

Went out, got ready to get changed. Then rain and wind started. Wasn't feeling it due to the wind direction. Headed home. Now it's settling down. Firgures.

Well I've been in the tree since 5:30 AM. The wind is good and it's beautiful morning. I brought the video camera I hope to be able to use it.

Yeah I saw that on the radar. Western NY was getting hammered. I'm also trying to not over hunt my spots as I don't need to with a doe in the freezer. So I will be more picky about weather.

After this front moves through, temps are going to drop. This week should be good.

Picking my battles on our property, so decided not to go out this morning. I'll hunt public this afternoon. Might be a crowded but we will see.

Good luck to everyone out today.

    Here... In a stand... Waiting.

Awesome morning, light breeze at 8 mph, I have only seen a cat this far.

Can't hunt long either going to work the NCAA D1 Pre-National Cross Country meet here in Terre Haute, IN. I equate it to like a regular season college basketball holiday tournament.

Hope ya'all have good luck and a good day!

Beautiful morning here in NW, Ohio. Been quiet but farmer just started taking off the corn to my west a 1/2 mile. Hopefully sends them my way. [IMG]

No deer yet this morning. But i did have a guy just come through walking his dog with no leash and singing to himself. I hope they at least scare something back this way.

First morning sit of the year for me. Nice calm morning. Bumped a deer on the way in, too dark to tell what it was. Had a coon damn near run me over. And one lone doe walked by right after first light. No shot. Tickled the horns a little bit after first light, but nothing yet. Going to check cams after my morning sit. Good luck everyone!!

I wish I had the pellet rifle. This squirrel has been sitting on this limb for 1 1/2 hours, about 20 yards away. If it gets down this might turn into a squirrel hunt.

LMAO!! Then we could share dog stories... Some people go into the woods and try and go undetected by deer - we just try to go undetected by dogs...
