    Just shot my first turkey. Looked good, really want a deer as well. Almost prime time and very little commotion.

    Scared to wait too long due to coyotes. Looked like I hit it top of the breast/neck area. It was able to flap out of sight but went quiet soon after.

    Ugh, second guessing now

    Hit the stand after working all night. 25 minutes in I just shot a doe. Not to big but freezer is empty. Had a fawn with her and she stayed after the shot. Could have doubled up but I let her go. Feels good to get one this year. Oh. Bought a brand new gopro, mount, all that jazz......forgot to turn it on lol.

    Followed feathers to general area it sounded like it stopped fluttering. Feathers stopped and picked up small spots of blood. Followed blood down a cut path about 40 yds and it stopped. Went ahead to where it gets more sun exposure and a lot more green and can't find any blood. Did come up on 5 doe and fawns so thinking the turkey didn't go that way. Was about 10 turkey and the remaining ones sped off in the direction the one I shot went.

    Going back to last blood and grid searching. Lack of turkey experience is killing me.
