Thanks! I live in NE but my family is still in Central IL so it's a good excuse to head home for the weekend ;)

I went last year not knowing many people. I met some amazing guys and had a fantastic time and have been looking forward to it since last year I can't wait! There are a couple of women there but not many. I will be there and Pearce wife will be there!

We have never set an age limit because it has never been an issue. If you are looking to do the shoots on Saturday you would need to have someone watch her. Pretty sure we wont allow kids that small out on the archery ranges for safety reasons but I will discuss it at our planning meeting and let you know for sure. As for the campground we did have a few kids last year but they were usually off away from the main group most of the time. The bonfire drinking, swearing and general gobs of BS that are flying around I dont think are a great place for that little.

I think we need to do this twice a year. Waiting for it to come around only once a year sucks. Maybe not as big but something like another camp out or something. :tu:

A bunch of us talked about doing something. Maybe we will do a late season camp out.

Hey guys this will be my first year coming to the G2G, Im 17 and just wondering if I will still fit in with y'all? Planning on camping a day or two. Its gonna be about a 5hr trip from Northern IN. Which day do you guys think would be best to roll in? I'll be bringing some food, as well as targets and fishing gear. My trucks gonna be loaded!

If you're gonna be there for two nights, I'd say Friday & Saturday nights would be best.

What he said. You will have no problem fitting in. I am arriving Tuesday and staying till sunday morning but most will roll in throughout the day Friday. I know a few others will be arriving Thursday.

Okay I think I might be putting in for that friday off. I might roll in thurs. night or just get up early and come in friday morning. Will people be bringing grills? I don't have any venison in stock this year but can bring some pork sausage and farm fresh beef! Since I'm not 21 lol, I'll have a cooler of pop and water!

Unfortunately we might not be able to make it this year.
I just spent every last dime we had to get my mom a ticket to get back here and to help pay for my grandmas funeral.
We sold our camper awhile back and we don't have any gear to camp.
If we can't make it i will at least try to stop buy.

Someone usually does bring a grill Friday. I usually cook over the open fire. I have a nice fire grate for it that your welcome to use.

Sorry to hear about all that. Sure we can all help to get you guys all set up. Camping is cheap and easy especially in june.

I got some steaks from my first deer I can bring that we can cook up. My family will never eat it all so we can have at it one of the nights of camping.
