My daughter shot her first deer at 30 yards with her Savage 20 gauge bolt action slug gun. He ran 50 yards and piled up. When she called my wife right after she shot she couldn't stop shaking Here is my sons 4th deer. He shot this doe at 120 yards with his Savage 20 gauge bolt action slug gun. She barely made it 40 yards. He passed a number of bucks looking for a mature deer and gets to go back out next weekend.

My brother was the final piece to this buck's puzzle on Monday morning Dad filled his tag earlier that morning too. I'll miss chasing that old buck, but I'm glad his story had a happy ending!
Great pics! My brother shot his third Doe yesterday.... butchering our fool heads off yesterday and today
Okay, Tony. Here's my 11 point I shot in Kentucky with my TC Encore muzzleloader on the 19th of October. I was using a 285 grain Shockwave saboted bullet with 150 grains of powder. I had just seen a doe and a fawn hurdle over some thick brush out into a picked corn field and it didn't take long before this guy stuck his head out of that same brush looking for them. He stepped out and turned broadside at only 60 yards. I love watching them fall 30 yards away from my tree.
So far! He hasn't beat me since.....wait, he beat me last year too .... He has some catching up to do ....
Cow elk. 250 yards. Tikka T3 in 300 win mag topped with a Leupold VX-3L scope. And a Barnes bullet.... of course. Doe jackalope. 75 yards. Ruger 10/22. Hehehehe And for the record... this is a rub. :D I saw some shooter bucks in IL but nothing that made me think they were up to this kind of rub. There was a whole line of them like this.
