Official 2012 get together date! June 9th, 2012

All the specifics for camping have already been posted and more specific details about the shoot on Saturday will be coming in the next month or so. Hope you can make it out!

Yep, I have been really working on my bow, getting it tuned to perfection. Finally got my draw weight close to 70lbs and have started shooting out to 50yds. Im really dead on out to 20 yds, getting decent groups at 30, can hit what im mostly aiming at at 40 yds, and well 50, i can hit the target, and get it close to where I was actually aiming but thats pushing it.

Been going through all the camping gear and making sure I have everything I need for the most part, just need to set the tent up and air it out when the date gets closer. Other than that, just buying little food and beer and im set to hit the road.

Speaking of food let me know if anything is needed, i have a couple packs of tenderloin steaks left, bunch of deer burger.

 

Yes it is around the same time annually.

Swung by the campground and hunt club on my way down to the IL Deer and Turkey Expo this morning! Was really surprised how many people were already camping. Now if June would just get here I am ready to go!

I'm out as my wife has plans for our anniversary weekend out in Galena, IL. I may be able to make it up thursday night into friday night.

I was a little worried when I decided to go back to school that I may have to miss the G2G because of class, since I am starting on May 16 for the Summer semester. However it looks like I'll only be taking Tuesday and Thursday classes and should be all free to drive up on Friday. I'll know for sure tomorrow after I meet with my advisor!! Fingers crossed my schedule works out as planned!

 

I was thinking the same thing but I am gonna take online classes so I might have to spend a bit of time at the nearby Starbucks for internet access depending on what my schedule works out.

 

Worked out as planned for meeting the school schedule. Got my Tue and Thur classes. Only thing now is to submit the request for time off from work.

I will let them know you are really sick and need three days to cope with your loses at the G2G!

 

Ill be coming it will be my first year attending and ill probably bring a buddy too. I live a little west of rockford so its like a hour drive. Not to bad and maybe we could make it for the bonfire. If anyone has more info about it that would help me out alot . Thanks
