Was watching western extreme the other day and his tech tip was to off set the fletching with one a half inch toward the nock and one a half in toward the head. He says this gives you the stability of 3 in in flight profile with 2 inch vanes. Sounded like a great idea to me but I don't know the physics behind it. Does anybody do this or thinks this will Or will not work?

I saw that episode tonight. A few years ago there were some guys on the mathews forum that were doing that. I can`t remember what conclusion they came to with it. One way to find out, fletch one up and give it a try.
