So we all know the off set bracket or "batwings" made by LW or Beast or others are excellent for gripping and hanging in crooked trees. Has anyone ever installed a bracket on a cheaper stand? I run a ton of various stands Hawk, Millennium, Guide Gear and others and got thinking of swamping bracket out. Anyone?
My best advice would be to weld/bolt a 1" tab to fit in these https://www.scheels.com/p/millenniu...le&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=unpaidlistings Get them wherever but they are awesome. Could cut the tabs with an angle grinder easily.
Not what I'm meaning. The nice thing about the offset bracket or bat wings is the ability to on an angle tree put stand perfectly straight vertically, but maybe only one side of the bracket at the top digs into the stand when installed. Those millennium things you posted would only help hang on straight trees. I do like them however, not what I'm meaning. Ill try posting picture sometime.
I pasted the wrong link and didn't double check. I meant this one https://www.scheels.com/p/xop-offse...1bv3FWlPAE_wLPizNhV7Bv0dK3cOFAwEaAj1PEALw_wcB
I have done it. I had bought a few from XOP years back when they were cheap. Then bolted it to what ever stand I was using. It works on milliunum stands that use the strap and bracket. Just have to drill a hole thru the post to be able to mount it. It is the best solution for leaning trees. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Check out doublesteps.com. DanO has them made and he can even make them custom if need if you have a certain size post. Good prices and very fast on the shipping. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Did you have a chance to talk to them? That would be a awesome option if they could knock out a few of them for you. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
He wants me to swing the LW one by when I get it. He's fairly certain they should be able to, won't happen quickly as they're swamped but during a slow down he could whip some out.
