Well with the 2012 deer season closed ive started getting the itch to shoot some fish again. Just dusted off the bows the other day and am getting them tuned up. Cant wait till things thaw out here in IL. So lets talk bows, what kind do you guys/gals shoot for bowfishing? I have 4...
    1. Oneida Black Eagle with ESC carbon limbs, 35-55lbs set at about 36lbs currently, rigged with a Muzzy XD reel and Quick Draw rest
    2. PSE Discovery 2 29lbs 0% letoff, tweaked to about 34lbs, Bowfishing Whisker Biscuit, soon to be rigged with an AMS Retriever Pro and extended long range super sniper bottle
    3. Oneida Strike Eagle set at 50lbs, small game bow but slings a bowfishing arrow nicely.
    4. Custom built stainless steel Slingbow, 45lb bands, muzzy fish hook rest and Synergy TI20 reel, close range fish slaying machine!!! My "go to" for wading shallow creeks and rivers
i have pleny of bows that i use for different species and conditions, or if i take someone out with me that doesnt have their own equipment. So lets hear what you shoot! Post pics if you want, im posting off my phone right now so i cant upload any pics but will try to later

Lol, Bowfishing off season that is... I would try to shoot thru the 6" of ice on the river but i think thatd result in a bunch of broken arrows!!!! I still got another couple months before the water will be shootable again

Ive just got an old PSE Strike Eagle. Nothing fancy, but she hasn't let me down over the past 3 seasons. She's been beat around in the boat, dropped in backwater, been covered in bighead slime and she still keeps on a keeping on. Was going to buy a Strike Eagle last year, but decided not to after how rough I am on the bow. Won't be long and it'll be time to be getting after it.

Oneidas are solid bows, i know they dont look like it but they definitly take a beating! plus those strike eagles are flippin huge and would hurt whatever they fell on or smacked more than the bow will be damaged!! haha

The plastic module on the side of the cam has to be replaced with modules from a PSE Discovery 2. the D2 is a genesis style bow with no set draw length. You will have to talk to your PSE dealer about getting modules straight from PSE. hopefully you can get lucky, i know alot of guys who have tried to get modules from various places and PSE said no.
