John and I were hunting in Illinois this weekend and stopped by his buddie's house, who is a taxidermist. Someone had just brought in this odd, awesome looking buck earlier that morning. Just thought I would share it with ya'll.

at least he's out of the gene pool. I've heard that when they have antler messed up like that they may be due to an injury of some type. Just what I've heard. But you have to admit that it is a one of a kind buck.

If he has an injury, how is that going to genetically affect the next generation? Awesome buck though

Do you or John have any idea if it was killed in the area?

Looks like it escaped from Robs hunting grounds. If he knew-he'd have a fit.

There is supposed to be a "nice" one down that would of made it's way in there most likely. I think the guy usually gets all his mounts done in there.

Not really to sure how big it is though.
