By looking at the standings this year, it is hard to not favor the Phillies as NL and WS champs (even though I can't stand the Phils). My Brewers might be able to challenge them, if their offense can hold up. Our offense has been pretty bumpy over the season-just hope it can get going when it has to.

Yeah man... Yankees clinched the East last night. Nothing like playoff baseball. Let the games begin!

by the way the Phils are unbeatable in the playoffs/ws

I'm looking forward to October baseball almost as much as opening day!

If the Tigers can keep the momentum they've had over the last month going, they practically can't lose. 12 straight wins to clinch the AL Central last week! Verlander is obviously a beast, and Fister is pitching real well. We need to do something about Brad Penny though. His curveballs are looking like slow pith softballs...

I'm saying Detroit and Milwaukee/Philly in the Series!

Brewers need home field in the first round to have much of a chance. Our offense has been bad lately. Really bad, left side of our infield is a liability.
