Went out last night and this morning and found 8 scrapes. This is the earliest I ever saw that many concentrated in 40 to 50 acres. I know it's a little guy who's got the urge but I think it's funny like a teenage boy with raging hormones.

My brother checked out his honey hole today and put out a couple mocks and cleared some stands. He found 8 scrapes as well and some dandy rubs. One spot there was 3 scrapes with In 6 feet of each other. He said It reeked of deer piss. It got his blood pumping!!

The seasons have been strange past couple, so hard to say. Maybe rut will be earlier this year! That would be awesome for me, since I'm off til late october.

I went into a spot yesterday afternoon that hasn't been disturbed since shed season. As I headed to where I was going to hang my stand, I found 4 scrapes in about a 20 yard radius. I was pretty surprised by it.

Have tons of scrapes in my area. Was seeing some as early as Sept 10 when we checked cameras. Mostly little guys but some big-uns helping out too. Thought that was real early.
