    Hey All,

I was shooting the admiral today and noticed the bristles on the left side of my octane are really worn down.

On further inspection each of my arrows had red streaks on the left side of the kock vanes from the bristles.

The nocks on my arrows appear to align with the kock vane so I am not sure why they would be brushing.

Any ideas? Would being underspined cause these issues? I am shooting Beman MFX 400s at 28.5 Draw and 65lbs.

    Thanks for the help.

    Wayne.

Do your vanes have an aggressive helical?

The arrows have 2" blazers with a slight right helical (Bought the shafts pre-fletched). I don't think they are overly agressive.

Could be a couple of things...
    1) Arrow not square to the string
    2) Brush needs to be backed out a tad
    3) Knock needs to be adjusted so that the vanes clear the brushes.

That is where I would start

It looks to me like your nocks need to be turned... That's pretty much the only thing that could cause that to your bristles since your arrow doesn't have much time to do anything before it passes through the rest.
