And my wife tell me I have issues...

    1) When going to the gym all gear must match,

    2) Use three towels no matter how much or little I sweat.

    3) unrelated...I can't stand an unfair fight.

5 isn't my issue and I'm not that OCD that I have to include it just because of the pattern.

FYI...the light switch cover screw thing isn't that OCD. I used to work for an electrical contractor and its just the neater way of doing things. Pay attention at other places...you'll notice it too. ;)

    Wow!
The only thing I might be accused of that is OCD like is stopping my gas pump, preferably on a whole dollar, followed by the nearest quarter. But usually I'm lazy enough that its the nearest $.00 or $.05.
And I pay at the pump with a card so it has NO bearing on anything where I stop it.

I am resisting the urge to find a screw driver. The wife would probably think I flipped out if she seen me running around the house adjusting the screws on the light switches so they matched. LMAO !!!!!!! Now the urge is even greater just to see her reaction !!!

But dear this is how they do it on bowhunting.com . I have feeling she would take the screw driver away and make me take a time out from this site.

Oh-no !! I see the office light switch needs some adjustment. Damn you !!!!!!!!! :throw:

Tim, don't know how to tell you this, but not only are your screws misaligned and probably loose, but someone put a tan screw on a white face plate somewhere in your home. I won't mention the face plate that doesn't match the outlet color, because I don't want you to stress out. lol

But I will admit that every home I've ever lived in as an adult I've had to go through and change all the outlets, switches and face plates so they are all the same color (white). Being shade blind, I can then just go to the hardware store and pick up another white one when they break.

That is not OCD. That is just normal to do. I will always try for the whole dollar. It is getting tougher to do with the gas going higher priced and it is spinning faster. I hate it when you hit .99 . Odds are not good that you can click it fast enough and let go to hit .00 .

You'll sleep a helluvalot better at night. Go ahead...ALIGN THOSE SCREWS!!! :D

Mark...when we bought our home I went through and replaced all the outlets and switches too. That way, I know they're all wired correctly and aesthically pleasing. ;)

OMG !!!! Some screws are painted while others aren't !!!!

When aligning... is horizontal more manly verses vertical ?? Horizontal to me says you are going with the linear flow of the room but they are NOT intuned to the functionablility of the light switch. It does offer contrast however with reguards to the functionability of the switch for rebellion.

Verticle is intune with the switch but wrecks volumes of discontentment or restlessness with the linear flow of the room.

I don't want anyone questioning my manhood if I align then wrong !!! How should I align them ??? Please help !!!!

I work with 15 other electricians. I have never seen any of them do it differently.
