Every once and a while you meet someone that is seriously into hunting, or so they say. This year at the GTG I met Richie Music and got to shoot with him for the day. We talked a lot and realized we were hunting some areas that backed up to each other and lived less than 15 minutes from from one another. Richie and I have a lot of plans for filming Deer and Waterfowl hunts this year. I have already been out scouting and hung some sets, and had the pleasure of meeting the kids and wife. One thing about Richie is you can take him out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of him. Recently he went on a "Vacation" for the weekend and promised pics, this is what I got
I hope that's not where the 200" buck he has promised his team is coming from!!!:D Man we sure need some better smilies and the whip guy. I'm gonna save that pic and compare it to the buck he enters in the contest!
Oh now i know where Richie finds all those huge sheds:D Just kidding but i also had a chance to shoot with Raceway and Richie at the GTG and you can't find better people.
I have seen one of the two monsters in person and guarantee you it is not the same buck. The deer in the picture is non typical and has nothing for tine length compared to the two he is obsessing about This might clear things up http://www.bowhunting.com/gallery/12/media/482/giant-illinois-buck-in-velvet.aspx
Sounds like fun... Camaraderie is a great thing, enjoy the memories, just share the pics... The ones of the deer, dear.. (just foolin' - someone else started it)
