The yellow dots are stands, red dot is a stand to be hung soon. Green dot is a stand I just hung for glassing. The two pink dots are spots where I spotted two bucks last year that were bedded on the edge of the beans. They were a 145ish and a 165ish.

My question is, how do you hunt these bucks? When they lay right on the edge of the field, what tips or tricks would you try to get close to them? I hung that observation stand (green dot) in an attempt to locate a shooter this year, and maybe try to move in on him. I can see pretty much the entire field.

So, Have any of you ever done this with any success?

Blue dots are where the farmer perfers me to park.
