Germ, nothing gets solved in the US either. The fact is we are just too big of a country and our population is growing, our toughness of character is degrading, and our economy is crumbling. The "fall" of many an "empire" began in that manner.

Yup, scary stuff. The character and toughness is what most worries me. The way kids are treated today..... it is only going to get worse.

    That's kinda my point.

The media is dug in on both sides claiming one is right and one is wrong.

I watch everything. I am a little weird, I admit it. I was at a high school basketball game the other day where I witnessed the following and everyone just acted like it was the norm.....teenage boys running around wearing jeans so tight I could see the outline of their testicles, boys wearing bright pink belts and prancing around, middle school age boys with nose and lip rings, fans screaming for fouls even though there was not a foul like little sissy people all game...yelling at the officials, not understanding the rules, kids running around wearing double diamond stud earrings at age 13 and acting pretentious as all hell, girls with their breasts popping out right by their parents and walking around with the outline of their boy panties popping through their spandex tight jeans...."parents" wearing what their kids where and acting like teenagers. UNREAL. I am telling you all, maybe it is just where I live, but our life in this country has forever changed for the negative in many areas.

I watched The OReilly Factor last night and Bill explained the reason he interuppted was because it was a "live" interview, he had exactly 20 mins. to complete it and had a series of questions/topics he wanted to cover. Had he let Obama babble he wouldn't have gotten it completed.

As for showing respect for the POTUS, I suppose he deserves some but if I were to talk to him, I would talk to him as I would any other person or...as an employee because he works for me, you, and every other tax payer. He's suppose to answer to us.

IMHO, The ONLY people that have to treat him with their utmost respect (whether they like it or not) are our US Miltary because he is the Commander In Chief.

The POTUS is no better man than I am, he just holds a title that was given to him and certainly not on my behalf.

THIS, is exactly why I raise my family in small town midwest. I could not stand 24 hours of that scene.

I usually like Oreilly, but IMO, he went over the top being rude.

I mean I don't respect bama, but I do respect the position of the president. Interruptions was out of line.

Wow BC thought he was rude, lol That settles it.

BTW it's now that I don't agree with Bill, it's this trench warfare media we have today is not working for me.

Bill is an ass, always has been, always will be. He interrupted the President 43 times, 43 times and never let him finish one answer. I don't care if he only had 2 min to do the interview, the only thing anyone learned from it, was what many already know, Bill is an ass.

The POTUS is the most powerful man in the world, Voted in under the rules and regulations of our Constitution, I may be wrong, but I would say that demands a certain amount of respect.

This article states 22 interruptions so I'd say your numbers are inflated/doubled.
    http://www.examiner.com/political-b...nterruptions-obama-super-bowl-interview-video

I agree the the POTUS is a powerful position but whether I voted for him or not, he works for me and gets the same respect as any one of my friends or family, no more than that though. I/we are their employer! They should answer to "We The People"

Let's put it this way, if I were to ever meet him (or any POTUS for that matter) I'd shake their hand but I sure as h*ll ain't gonna bow at their feet.

Can all of you that are complaining about the interruptions honestly say you've NEVER interrupted anyone on your life? If you answer no then this is no different IMO.

He might have interrupted the 22 questions he asked, but he actually interrupted him from speaking 43 times, I know, I counted. But you can take someone elses word for it, if it make you feel better. LOL. And who asked you to Bow?
Where I grew up if you interrupted people like that, you got a knuckle sandwich for lunch!
There is a differance between wanting or needing to be heard and just being a moronic ass.
    Bill is an ass!

while I'm no fan of oreilly's interview tactics, to be fair, obama, left unchecked, would have filibustered the entire interview... he has a gift of gab and will completely dominate a conversation/interview given the opportunity... personally I didn't see the interview as combative at all... neither got into arguments or drug down the conversation into a spat over whose stats were right and etc... the hard core righties will say oreilly was softballing the pres and the hardcore lefties will say oreilly was a bully and etc and rant about it... i found the substance of the interview to be fairly neutral really...

And that is why I am hoping within two years that my wife and I will be moving away from this place. This is the only place she has ever known but she has career aspirations that will likely pull us away from this county. We are the second fastest growing county in VA and the second largest in terms of population.

You just described every politician in America here. Seriously, if you've ever had any personal time, say breakfast, with a politician - start a timer and see who dominates the conversation the most. It's just a trait necessary to be a successful politician.
