One thing that I did not like is how O'reilly kept interrupting Obama. Let the man talk for heaven’s sake. There is a difference between rudely interrupting him and keeping him on track. You are interviewing the president, not just some average Joe. He deserves a little more respect.

Obama is full of B.S. but he sure puts on a good show.

    Thoughts?

The only part I like is when OBama said it should be the persons responsilbilty to get health insurance, and not the responbilty of the rest of america to pay for their care.

It's like 1 of 3 things I agree with in Obama Care.

O'Riley is rude and a putz

Why ? I think he lost any reason to respect him when he proved that he works for the Financial and Political Elite, not the PEOPLE...How about when he pushed for this Health-Care reform that the majority of the Country was AGAINST.

The President works for US, not the other way around. He's a liar, a BS artist and a freaking socialist. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing he should be talking about, is why he doesn't work for the best interest of the people...

Agree or disagree with him, the president of the United States deserves a certain level of respect. Simply for the position he holds. You don’t have to be respect the man... but you should have respect for the position he holds.

Edit: I'm not saying you have to kiss his ass and ask softball questions. But it is not right to be downright rude to him during an interview.

But you can choose not to drive. Also I think the big deal isn't because it's socialist, it's the gov't mandating you how to spend your own money. There's a difference.

I agree completely. I disagree with a lot of Obamas stances too.

But show the man some respect.

I agree, but if you don't have insurance and you get sick, who pays the bill?

You and I do who have taken the responbility to get healthcare or pay for it out of pocket.

    He got a certain level.

And Gary....Obamacare is a socialist policy. Saying it isn't doesn't make it so. I mean....this is politics 101.

The people who don't have healthcare now......where do you think they're gonna get the money to pay for it under Obamacare?

Saying it is does not make either Jeff, this is politics 101

I have ask for examples of policy that are socialist, can you name any? What exactly makes Obama care socialist?

The manadate to have isurance? Or the regulation on the insurance field, or the extra cost for companies. My buddies company is going to have to spend 250,000 extra a year for Obamacare.

To me socialist policy or not it's to cost to much money and should be scraped.

Just not at the level I deem acceptable. Repeatedly interrupting the President in a rude manner is not OK IMO. Put away your bias of the man for a second and understand the position he holds.

I completely disagree. I never respected Clinton, and I'll never respect Obama. Both are BS artists, con-men, and absolutely Narcissists of the highest level. Unfortunately, this country is being run/ruined by a group of Elitists who put only their own personal interests in the forefront. Be them R's or D's, they are overwhelmingly a group that are NOT in touch with the COMMON American and his or her wants/needs.

Now I'll agree O'Reilly can tend to be rude, but he doesn't OWE Obama any measure of respect, beyond general not being rude and interrupting unless Obama rambles, which he seems to do anytime he speaks as far as I'm concerned.

    Gary,
Healthcare insurance was being GIVEN to many, many people long before the "Obamacare" advent, however, Obamacare sets us up on a "FASTTRACK" to a completely socialized system as it's mandating people buy insurance from the government, but what about those who are already getting free care???? Again, what will happen is the working class people are going to foot the bill for the non-working and as with Social Security, Fannie Mae, and any other government run part of our economy, it will turn into a big ME$$.

I worked in a "socialized' healthcare system, and what you get is people seeking care EXCESSIVELY, and without recourse, they will promptly and systematically bankrupt any such system. The Military Healthcare System was exactly that, and you'd have a 25yr old mother of 5 bring ALL FIVE KIDS in to be seen. One has a sore throat so he needs a rapid strep test and some antibiotics, one just has the common cold, but we'll GIVE her some Robitussin, and cough drops for that, one has an ear ache, which turns out to be nothing, yet the doctor is bothered with looking in the little guys ear, considering whether he's missing something or not, and might end up putting the little guy on a broad spectrum antibiotic just in case because he sure as hell don't want to get sued if he missed something. And to top it off, she hasn't had a pap smear and is late so she decides she wants to get a pelvic and use the system for a pregnancy test rather than go buy one at the store....... And it goes on an on like this, time after time..... A young mother of 3 comes into the hospital, with a toothache at 3:00 a.m., half intoxicated, but she has the "CARD" and needs to be seen. During her "social" exam she tells you she smokes pot 4-5x per week, is unemployed, drinks 5-8drinks per day, smokes 2 packs of cigarettes per day and is on welfare. 3 babies, 3 different daddies, no job, and she needs some "Oxy's" for her tooth ache. This was the rare occasion where the ER Dr. did the "right" thing, and gave her a script for "APAP ES", she asked what it was as I had to wheel her out to the lobby in a wheelchair and I told her it was like "Tylenol" on steroids.... :D Extra Strength Tylenol...... SHE was PISSED, so she went to the OTHER hospital in town, which was owned by the same company, and there, she was turned away...... But that's the "CARD" being put to GOOD USE......

From the Goverment or private insurance company? What is the current mandate?
I like to know the facts and not etiher sides opinion about it.

Republicans will tell you they like balance budgets and smaller goverment. The last 3 republican presidents have run a debt of almost 9 trillion of a 14 trillion deficit.

So I dislike both these days.

From the Goverment or private insurance company?

If the government mandates and controls it....does it matter?

    What is the current mandate?

It's called capitalism. It's called free-will. It's called open market.

But again...this is 101 stuff, and it's your credibility in any type of serious discussion on these matters that's taking a dive.

I guess you could quote some more Cass Sunstein.

You wanna be a smart ass....and I was giving you some advice....to keep you from coming across as a dumb ass.

    Carry on.
