I was reading some news this morning and apparently the President's fundraising group has launched a great new idea in these economic times. Instead of getting a toaster, silverware or cookware you can go without at your wedding and have a frameable document showing your contributions through your guests. This unselfish act will enable us to beat the last elections record for spending. http://content.usatoday.com/communi...-campaign-cash/100000000001408/1#.T-XHCtW0ySo http://www.barackobama.com/news/entry/the-obama-event-registry Thoughts?
Nothing says "I don't give a S*** about you or your bride" more than making a political contribution on their behalf. What a sleezy way to try and raise funds! Next, will be the same thing for baby showers and birthdays! "Gee Billy, we were going to get you that bicycle you wanted for your birthday, but wouldn't you much rather see another 4 years of this guy?"
If you don't like obama then it is something to make fun of because it is pretty stupid but, it is meaningless concerning the money in politics. We've been to far concerning buying an election for a long time now. This is a long read but pretty good and non-partisan. http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/06/history-money-american-elections?page=1
Low class to say the least.... But why should we be expecting anything else from someone who been on the public dole his entire adult life.
Who cares? Obamas lack of basic decency will scare off more donors than it scares up. Misspellings courtesy of iPhone, so sue me. Go ahead, take away my birthday!
Almost as awesome an idea as when they put their campaign hoodies on sale during the Trayvon Martin incident. You stay classy Obama: http://www.newsmax.com/US/obama-hoodie-sale-campaign/2012/03/27/id/434044
