Forcing ME to pay for someone elses healthcare is friggin crazy. Unconstitutional or not, it is a piece of garbage legislation.
I sure do Wahoo, I sure do. Certain people need not be on any "healthcare" at all. You want to live your life like a slob and have me pay your dang healthcare costs because you are a fat slob, excessive smoker, or just a generally unhealthy person because of YOUR choices, I have a problem with it. I DON'T care how you live as long as your stupid choices don't affect me. Unfortunately America has become a breeding ground for apologists and those that think GOVERNMENT can solve everything. You have a legitimate health issue, I have no problem paying in a bit. You want to kill, murder, rape, people, then I think you should sit in prison without healthcare, minus possibly helping a woman deliver a child. Other than that, you want to be a child rapist, stone cold killer, then guess what, you ain't getting crap in prison. AND the list goes on and on.
So if we are paying for it anyway, does it make sense to spread the cost? I had a friend go to ER without insurance and she received a bill for around $160.00. When she got it filed under her insurance, they allowed the hospital to refile it through them and it suddenly increased to something like $5800.00. Something is wrong with that.
Our healthcare system blows, what is the answer I do not know. Unless we fix it soon it will bankrupt this country. Forcing those without insurance to get insurance to me is not a bad thing. There are many items in Obama care that blow, and many I agree with.
Germ Who's paying for your and your family's health insurance ?? You or your job ?? What about a guy that has worked hard all his life in a poor wage state to raise a family?? Who has done a good job in being a father and a husband ?? The only jobs available to him didn't provided insurance. Is forcing him really the answer ?? Other then sending him to jail... how are you going to force him to pay when the money just isn't there when he couldn't " AFFORD " it in the first place ??? How's sending him to jail going to make it any better for his family?? Food stamps ?? The good guy is now a burden on tax payers dollars in jail ?? I've been on both sides of the fence. Forcing isn't the answer !! Seems some don't take in consideration their upper class's real world is a far cry from the lower class's real world. The money only goes so far. Tim
Here is my issue, yes my Job pays for my health insurance. I think if you are going to have kids, your responiblity as a parent is to provide healthcare for yor kids. Part of Obama-Care is if you cannot afford health insurance you get put on a medicare type coverage. There are people who truly cannot afford health insurance that need assistance. There are some not being repsonsible and we are footing the bill for them. BTW forcing people to have health insurance is not a Obama idea, it's a GOP idea that goes back to 1992 I believe.
Your logic is twisted. It certainly does not "void" anything. That is the problem wahoo, we have people (like you) that think that we HAVE to do things, well just because "it is what it is". I don't HAVE to do anything besides stay a balding, white, ugly man and die. That is it.
Last time I checked, neither the bill or rights nor the constitution call say that the government is obligate to provide health care for all their citizens. It amazes me, that in less than 60 years, our citizens views have shifted so far towards those of socialist. Blows my mind, that we just spit on the free market, like it didn't help build and create one of the strongest nations ever.
Capitalists are viewed as enemies... Read the Humanist and Communist Manifestos. All will be cleared up. The primary differences between pure Socialism and pure Communism is not in their ideologies but in their modes of revolution.
