So I haven't been getting any sleep since Sunday October 27,2013...story goes as follows,

Early September before opening day in MD, my trail camera ( honey hole spot) took a picture of a nice 9 point
buck that I would like to harvest this year with my bow. I decided to add another trail camera in a area were I thought he was traveling from. After setting out the new trail camera in front of a mock scrap, I waited two weeks before I switched sd Cards. I had 1 video from the whole two weeks of the camera being out. Luckly it was a video from the shooter buck I have my eyes set on for this bow season. All this happened before October. Have not seen this buck since then. So fast forward to sunday ( October 27). I decided not to sit in my stand were I had seen him on camera the first time ( which is my honey hole) and sit in a old spot were I have had success with pre rut rattleing, thinking I could maby get him riled up and curious.( most of you probably no were this is heading). Sunday morning around 11am I get down and swaped sd cards out of my camera at the honey hole spot. Lo and behold what do you know. The shooter showed his face all on my trail camera at 7:30am Sunday morning!!! Hopefully with the does in that area and the beggining of the rut ready to kick off, it will keep him coming thru and I get an "rage in the cage" moment. I no its happened to plenty of other guys that hunt. How have you guys dealt with the fact that you could have shot the biggest buck in your life if you had stuck to your normal routine

Pod- I hope I get him also. He is a really awsome looking deer. Plus I think he carrys the same genetics as the 8 pointer I was able to harvest last year in the same stand.

    Pse- Thats very true lol.

Doesn't bother me, I make a decision and go with it and don't beat myself up over it later if I find out it wasn't the best decision. I've spent enough of my lifetime already second guessing myself and being indecisive...this approach has worked better for me overall.

Similar to your experience, the big guy I posted a while back I named OMG! had been posing for my camera every night so one morning a week or so ago I got in the stand an hour before daylight. Sitting in the ladderstand at 6:59am a deer came into the scrape but it was way too dark to see let alone through the peep. I could see the dark of the body mass and that was it. I could tell from it's mannerisms it was OMG! and it was too dark to do a thing about it. The deer walked away , rubbed on the local rub and disappeared. I sat there until 9:45 and never saw him in light. I pulled the card and took it home and sure enough it was OMG! standing in the scrape right point blank in front of me in the IR of the camera......how frustrating is that?!
