Anyone doing anything to bring in the new year? I'll be up in Lexington KY for the Kentucky Louisville basketball game, pretty pumped for that. First time ever both teams were in the top 5 for a matchup. Leaving in the morning and spending the weekend up there. Spent the last few in Nashville, thought I'd try a new scene this year. Whats on the agenda?
I'll be in Houston for a friend's party. Just bought a couple bottles of champagne. Bought my "outfit" last night (black and white theme party). I hate themed parties but I'm excited to show off my new bow tie.
There will be pregnant people and small children at my house for what will ultimately be the first of many lame adult parties in my life. I fear the glory days are over.
mpls hotel room trying to get some shut eye before our last game of the season. only good things is that i'll have two weeks to put some meat in the freezer. no snow for my new sled and no ice to fish...
YEP I have big plans! I have to work! The joys of being a public servant. And to top it off I'm on the ambulance so Please if you drink dont drive! I dont want to scrape anyone off the road. Be safe!
Ice fishing with my wifes cousin (my partner in Mad Bass) starting early in the morning, then we are both headed to a party at my wifes aunts house in the afternoon. I'm lucky, my in-laws are a TON of fun, and there's a bunch of cousins that are all my age that all fit in well. Add in the fact that my wife's aunt has a fully stocked bar that seats 10 in the basement, and my father in laws house is a short stumble across the road........I'm sure it will be a great time.
Party at my friend's place. First year in the last two that we're not hosting it, so it should be nice.
We are gonna go out to dinner with the father-in-law and his girlfriend. Poor guy hasn't celebrated in several years because he took care of his parents. It will be nice to get him out to enjoy life again but he will likely peter out by 10 so we are stopping at a friends nearby to ring it in.
LMAO! You should play a little Bruce Springsteen at the party. Just the usual for me. I make miles of food for not enough people to eat it. It will end up 20 + dishes. Nothing too fancy, bunch of picking foods. Probably a beer or two and some quervo too.
Wife asked the same question the other day, we laughed...3 year old and 10 month old pretty much mean watching the peach drop from the house. Neither of us drink, so no big deal anyway. All you guys/gals make sure you are safe out there and return home safely.
You whine like a mule. Soon we'll be those crazy parents at a Holiday Inn.. while we're all getting intoxicated at the bar the kids will be running a muck in the pool. Then we just stumble upstairs to bed.. the kids wondering why mom is puking.
The wife and I have reservations at our favorite Indian restaurant and then we're meeting some friends downtown. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
My plans have made me realize I'm no longer a partier. We have a baby-sitter so me and my wife are hitting Red Lobster, with Christmas gift cards of course, and then we may check out a few stores before heading back home by 9 or 10 I'm sure.
Don't have too much fun! I just got back from the liquor store. Gonna sip on some captain and coke while I work in the garage. Got to make sure I pace myself though. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
I've got reservations for my girlfriend and I at a Japanese restaurant at the hibachi grill which I'm pretty excited about. I've heard nothing but really good things about the place. Afterward we're just hanging out at her house while drinking some of her dads homebrew beer/schnapps/moonshine
We are getting together with alot of the neighbors next door. We have not drove any where on New Years Eve since we have had the kids. There will definetly be some venison sticks and summer sausage to eat.
Not much doing here either, all the kids and the grandson will come over, I will grill some venison backstraps and we will boil some lobster tails....should be in bed by about 10, LOL.....Yawn.......
