I'm also in genesee and I'm covered in rubs and scraps. Cam showing each day the bucks are moving more and more in day light
Was a great weekend --- lots of chasing going on... Shameless chasing, ran by me 10yards, as I was in the open, crossing a logging road... Didn't even look twice at me ... Fork buck so wasn't worth it.... 20min later while sitting on a stump 2 bucks 2 does come crashing by... Stopped a buck with a grunt 20 yards from me... Obscured from the tall grasses I passed on this 4 Pointer... Just stayed quiet while he started sauntering away... At 30 yards I finally got a clear look at him as he was not checking me out anymore... Nice 6pts... Spent the next 30min trying I get him back in closer but being in the semi open never had a good chance either get him closer than 40 yards or even draw my bow without getting busted. Nothing tagged, but awesome day in the woods
New property in 8g.... So the other night I took a great doe ( no babies, slob, older) and right after i hear lots of noise. Long story short a parade of 22 turkeys walk by in a line around 50 yards out. It's gets better. They then proceed to roost in the trees all around me! GD I love hunting
