I just saw that. I have a my kids soccer Saturday morning and my kids b-day party Saturday evening. So that's a bust now Sunday looks like a ton of rain and so does Monday. I considered taking Monday off until I saw that. Maybe just keep and eye on Subday and forget about Monday. Look for next weekend and not force something stupid with wind and bad weather.
Have seen a lot of does around 12 and 2 button buck. Should have taken a die the first day it was at the stand by 8. Was holding out for a buck
I shot a doe last night and filled a dmp. It was a medium sized doe. Took her at about 20 yards. It came in on a string. Right to the stand and turned to quarter away. I hit a little back and the do ran about 200 yards or so. All cut up already and in the freezer. I have to pull my trail cam as it ran right by it after being hit. The NAP Killzone did one heck of a job. Pressure is off now. Time to focus on some of the big boys. Relaxing tomorrow and going out Monday morning for a little bit.
We have him on camera for two years with no brow tines so we put him on our management hit list. He would have been great with those brow fines!
Milan/Red Hook... Does does does...... Smaller 4ptrs... Few one time cruisers on cams in the middle of the night...
Killed at 5:15 on 10/28 Bucks are really starting to move by me. Lots of scrape action for the trail cameras. This week should be great towards the end moving into the weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed ... Moved my remote cameras to scrapes and they were getting hit within 5 hours .. Phones been pinging since ... Was changing batteries on a camera and a buck walked up Over the rise within 10yards of me, circled back to the path I was on... I managed to move to behind the tree the damn thing was 3yards away... Too close for me to raise a bow, but saving him as big cruiser bait.... Hoping to get out Friday eve and the weekend...
Where in NY?? I'm in Saratoga County and haven't seen any scrapes or rubs yet. I'm getting some smaller bucks on camera during daylight but the big boys are still laying low. I'm not seeing much rut sign yet.
