    Yes Im ready for Sunday I'll be in Clarence on private land the first couple hunts, then off to state land sometime during the week hopefully when everyone is at work.

    Small world indeed. I don't know any Pitkins or Carneys but Pitkins is a known name there (All good that I have heard by the way).

    NY state land is good indeed for turkeys. Just gotta wait out the first week like you said and all those that just go and call like mad men.

    Public land scares me during turkey, believe it or not there are ppl ( I will not call then hunters) that actually shoot at sound!

    I hunt in Jefferson county. I can't wait for turkey to open on Sunday. Our forecast isn't looking good right now though.

    lost my good NY turkey spots... one place sold to an anti and another put a house up in prime area... ugh.. oh well. Just gotta keep asking permission and someone will let me in again.

    I have 4 different locations but the problem is our winter was so crazy last year that not only did I not even hear of a bird being taken by any of my friends but it's hard finding any this year.
