I been contacted asking about Pro bono legal work, going to work on mobilizing what I can and contacting others that may help.
Couldn't find it anywhere in there, but as a nation the law affects everyone in setting precedence. Neither the class action nor petition form really states you must be a NY resident, the petition is even able to be edited for the state of residence. Think it's worth it for nonresidents to fill out? I haven't yet, but will if it would help

I dont think you have to be a resident...for example a non resident who who hunts in NY as of this new law wont be able to purchase ammo without a back round check. Or lets say you have property in NY and your hunt with an AR, new law wont allow you have it in your possession while in NY. More then likely there are going to be numerous instances where this affects non residences. One avenue we are perusing is constitutional property rights in addition to 2nd amendment rights, using that angle it effect broader range of individuals non residences included. Sign it until the suit is specific in scope.
