Has been a good and fun year so far, for my fun fishing. Tournament fishing, not so much! But, Im working with less then great equipment at the moment, thats my story! Anyway, brace yourself for some amazing pictures!!!!! I know prob half have already been seen, but didnt feel like trying to figure out what ones so just posted most of my better ones.
hahaha I wish I did. Fish look small in front of me! Its hard to take a picture that gives the fish justice and not my gut!
Gotta throw in some salt water to the mix! Tarpon season is on fire this time of year! Couple King fish my dad and I caught! A nice mid-sized shark! And a nice Florida Bass!
Anyone fishing still? Got out between home projects for a couple of hours yesterday. We didn't catch a ton of fish, I think maybe 6-7 total......this is more of a big fish vs. quantity lake. Luckily with no tournaments left this summer I'm able to spend time on lakes with big fish vs. spending time on tourney waters prefishing. I gotta say it's really nice to fish with no pressure and just hang with a buddy.......it's been a while. Surface temps started at 76 degrees at 7am, and climbed to 80ish degrees by 1pm when we finished for the day. All fish were in 10-18' with most of them specifically between 12-15'. All caught on bottom contact patterns. I think 99% of the home projects are done and the house will be listed tomorrow, so maybe I'll get a couple of outings in the next couple of weeks while we wait for the house to sell. 4lb'er caught by my buddy Dan: 5lb'er caught by me:
This time of year is when I love to fish. Down here its more about quantity than quality. I hit the rivers hard with my kayak and even break out the fly rod this time of year. Top water blasts are the best even if its a 12" smallmouth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
Hit a local lake for an o/n camping trip with my buddy. Started fishing around 2pm, finished up around 10:30pm. Caught about 50 bass between the 2 of us all about 1-2lbs. Beautiful night to be on the water.3
