Tony, I just have to ask, Why would any one eat small mouth bass, you have perch and pan fish, bass yuck!
So do we.... Smallmouth tastes better, IMO ... and as good in everyone else's here ... try it ... white, flaky, sweet meat
By the time the season comes in after they spawn the waters a little to warm for my liking, its time to head out on the big lake for perch and walleyes.
Great pics guys!! PT - Are those Erie fish? Prefished on Saturday morning for our Sunda tourney and actually only made one cast, was able to find good fish without sticking them in the spots I expected them to be and got off the water before people that knew me might see me out there. Was off the water by 9. Blasted off yesterday morning for the tourney, but unfortunately only had 60 boats show. We managed to do OK and cashed a check in 7th place. Lost two key fish that would have put us in 2nd or 3rd but overall I'm happy with how we did compared to the amount of time we have been able to prefish. I'm pretty sure I'm done with tournaments this year, but should be able to get out on a few big fish spots close to home for fun and pictures. I'm yet to catch anything really big this year but hopefully that changes over the next couple of months.
Good looking fish guys. I'm just waiting to get out. Been busy with work and more home remodels and haven't had time to go at all yet this summer. Hope that changes by next week.
