LG Mouth Bass (not yet in season until Sat). Took the misses out the other evening - she caught 6, I caught 1.
A buzz..... Seriously though, I only go fishing to drink and hang out with friends. I often don't even wet a line when I go.
I've had a pretty good year so far, Limited out on walleyes on 6 trips, crappies on two. As far as big fish I caught a 27" walleye and a 41" pike on a trip to Lake Oahe last weekend. Definitely making up for a slow year on the ice.

nice!!! I caught my first LG mouth in 2 years Friday night...only weighed about 2 pounds, ay my parents house on the lake, my dad said "wanna catch one first cast? aim right there" ...boom fish on. makes me kinda want to get back into it again..
I've been out quite a bit this year which is a surprise with our new son being only 5 weeks. I took the boat out 3 times before he was born, and yesterday was the second time I've been out after. I have only been able to fish places really close to home, so I haven't been able to hit most of my favorite spots this year and likely won't be able to. I'm just happy getting on the water though. No monsters this year and no picture due to that, but I have done pretty well with numbers and have caught a pile of fish up to 3lbs. I have a tourney next weekend on the lake I consider my "home lake". Should be 70-80 boats and some stiff competition. I prefished yesterday and will again on Saturday, I'm hopeful we can put 5 good ones in the livewell.
I haven't caugh much so far, just a few bass and crappie. My brother caught he first ever musky up near the Canadian border this past weekend, weighed in at about 12lbs, and my dad caught a 7.25lb brown trout in the Catskills 2 weekends ago.
Today's bounty .....biggest was caught.by Andrew ... 20" ... mine was 19" ... the rest between 15-18" P.S. Do you like my Redneck shirt :D
Caught some nice bass for Iowa, record is only 10 lbs. Nice green sunfish, 1 inch below Iowa record. Love to fish, girlfriend does too. Here's her biggest so far this year.
