Didn't say I wouldn't watch and follow MLB. I'll just watch college ball a lot more.

I'm pumped, not only for the Red Sox, but baseball season in general. Now that football is over, I have nothing until baseball season. I don't watch basketball, and I don't watch hockey (although going to games are fun), so spring, warm weather, and baseball sounds great right about now!

Braves signed Uggla, let's just hope he stays a 280/35/100 guy and not the 200/10/200 strikeout guy. He could be a huge pickup, as the main problem with last years squad was the fact we had no threat of a 3 run bomb at ANYTIME...Uggla provides that. Troy Glaus went out of this world for 1.5 months last year and we almost built a big enough lead to win the division. We have the pitching, only question is cemter/left filed again...and a rookie named Freddie Freeman at 1st. He smashed in the minors, but did not impress when he got the call last year. He has been a 300/25 guy in the m inors, but the problem is he is a 400/15 homer one month and a 135/2 homer one month to give him his average so to speak. Consistancy is what we need.

Oh yeah, our Division rivals the Phill D's signed some guy named Lee...

Halladay/Lee/Hamels/Oswalt and probably Joe Blanton as a fifth starter...he is a legitimate #3 and he is their #5:( Oh yeah, they have a decent 1st and 2nd baseman as well as shortstop, centerfielder...............AAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:biggun::throw::cry:

If that does not make you wish you could go back 10 years and strap them back on...nothing will.

LOL I used to do the same thing.

Some of the best times I ever had were going to spring training with my dad for two weeks. He would stay the whole month. He had front row seats behind the Phillies dugout. Best baseball I everwatched, absolutely the best.

When I wasn't at a baseball game I was watching NCAA conference championships and March madness. After those two weeks I could drink a case of beer and not get a buzz LOL.

We stayed in these little aprtments on Clearwater beach. Other than going to the baseball games we could walk everywhere we needed to go. I always dranl lemonade at the baseball games. I was driving and it lemonade goes better with barbecue sunflower seeds.

    Great, great times.

Boston has a winning team this year for sure, as long as they don't get bombed by injuries again, pumped to watch 'em play.

I'm hoping the "Fightin' Showalters" can add to what they were doing at the end of the season last year. Anywhere but the cellar is fine with me.
