Your opinion that Favre can no longer play at a high level is based on what then?

Favre performed at a pro bowl level LAST SEASON before suffering injury.

He went through surgery to correct the problem and is now firing the ball with great velocity and without pain.

There other starting QB's in the league near the same age as Favre starting for other playoff contenders (Curt Warner, Kerry Collins). Why don't you tell them to stop playing too?

Jeff, why do you display so much malice towards Favre when you have already admitted that you didnt really follow him/his career all to much? I still dont see where it matters to YOU...your not a fan of any of the 4 teams that it deals with?

Comparing him and TO is not even remotely similar, Favre has never boasted or showboated a day in his life...he has only had issues about giving up the game.

And "marginal" quarterback? Are we watching the same NFL? Half the teams out there are starting scrubs compared to Favre...do i need to post his pre-injury stats AGAIN?

This would be like me talking about Sydney Crosby...i know nothing about him or the sport, so i keep my mouth shut when it comes up....

He's too old to be playing pro anymore, but I give him credit if he can get a team to pay him some more big bucks to sit on their sidelines. Every team out there need bench warmers and evidently Minnesota has too much money.

Too old? Kurt Warner is the same age and went to the Super Bowl last year! Hes not even the oldest player in the league....

I still hope Farve blows it up this year with 30+ TD's and wins another MVP :)

BTW.. No I am not a Farve fanboy either.

Hey Tony, if you were holding your arm as if it you were in pain, you'd look just like Favre in a few weeks, just after he throws another interception! :D
