Went up to Chicagoland (Wheeling) earlier this week. Had to help my mom move some furniture. Anyhow, 'Bad Carma' seems to affecting more than just me. My mom had a little accident pulling her lexus into her garage. (it's a very tight fit with her 4runner already parked in there) ...anyhow, she smashed the passenger side mirror of the car. What does she do? Why, she puts it back together with duct tape and electric tape of course. :d I told her she can't make fun of my redneckiness if she puts her lexus back together with duct tape. (she is going to get it fixed. $1100.00 for a new mirror!)
Tell her the repair job would look a little more Lexus-like without all of the wrinkles in the duct tape! :d
I teased her a bit about the tape job. I have to give her some slack tho'. She's 75. Not too mention that where she parked there's a cabinet and while she was taping it up, she stood up and brained herself on the corner of it. She had a huge goose egg on the side of her head and you can kind of see that she still has a little bit of a black eye.
