Lol I thought about making my own "ground grunted" a long time ago, but when I tried putting it together, I found that there was just too many things to carry.

So how does a person look around when their head is hooked into the contraption?

Am I the only one that has tied off with my climbing rope because I was falling asleep in the stand? I am going to get two of these! I will let you know how they work out.

I have lashed myself in during all day sits when I get to the dangerous point...I often wonder what if one walks by....take a while to un-lash myself.

uh, the easy solution is to position your safety harness strap so the farthest you can lean forward is appx. 45*...I do this as a matter of habit and actually do so in order to use it as a sort of a hammock - no kidding. I can lean into that and sleep for hours if I had to. Actually very comfortable.

I have a long rope style linesmen belt. I simply use it like a seat belt. Cinch it tight in the sitting / sleeping position. If something comes in a simply slide the prusik knot. Gives me enough room to stand up, move around, and make the shot. I can even unhook the carabiner if I need to. Just be careful it doesn't drop away and KLANK!

I was kidding about buying these BTW. :p

I love my Ground Grunter. Instead of my piss blowing all over the place when nature calls I just go in the tube and it settles in a nice mock scrape by my tree!
