You got to be kidding me?:huh: The rut's just starting & we're expecting summer this week. Dagnabit anyway! I'm still going out, but had to pull out my warm weather stuff again! What a freak fall we've been having. It'll be warm till gun seaons 11/22 & then the temp will drop into the single #'s. Just venting.

It was 60 yesterday and I called in Three bucks in the middle of the day. Later in the day the calvalry showed up and one of them shot a doe and one missed a doe. I'm still going out and giving it a whirl in an hour, and Camo500 is joining me!
Yesterday the temperature when I left my lease was 84 degrees. EIGHTY FRIKKEN FOUR! No one on the place (11 hunters Sunday AM), saw a thing!
Hey brother, I hear ya. But it is supposed to cool of with a front coming in this next weekend, I will be in Fennimore AGAIN all weekend. I shot a small buck on another farm that I can hunt that is in CWD, the guy just wants some deer shot because of the crop damage. Any way they were beginning to move good for me. What I want to know is, when are you coming out there w/ me?
This weather is ridiculous in WI. I'm heading out Wed. through Sat. I'm hoping it cools off. I see rain in the forecast. This past weekend I sat all day Saturday. It was really quite and the leaves were crunching. I only saw one. It seems the bucks are still nocturnal. Hopefully things get going out there later this week and through gun season.
Yep, it was too warm in Minnesota this weekend too. I hunted Saturday a.m. and didn't see a thing. Sunday i saw 3 deer before 7:30a.m., and not a thing after that (sat all day until dark)! This next weekend the weather is going to turn and it will be perfect (I hope)! Unfortunately it's gun opener in Minnesota this Saturday, but hopefully they'll push the deer into my land!
raceway, that's wild that you called in 3 bucks during the day. Maybe that's it. I keep hunting dawn/dusk. Hopefully thurs I can go out all day. Madhunter, let me know when u want to go. I'll check my schedule. Is anyone gun hunting that property or is it just for us bowhunters?
Break out the rods and reels boys and go cathc some walleyes, ohh yea dont forget to grab your bow and have it handy incase a buck or doe happens to wander near by lol.
hang in there, report from my buddies in MN is that the bucks are ready but does arent... so he shot a nice 10pter yesterday while in a group of 3 other shooter bucks! the guys are just hanging around not knowing what to do waiting for the does to come into heat...

The hottest I saw today was 81. And this weekend's supposed to get down to like 30 for a low I think. Gotta love St. Louis weather.
IT would really suck to be in the Dakotas right now. Over 2' of snow and 10' drifts? Insane for this early in November. Dang global warming!
